Job Description
- Structural analysis, drafting and project management for delegated steel design projects including the design of stair and railing systems and steel connections
- Preparation of engineering submittals, review of shop drawings and development of new calculation templates
- Review of construction documents and specifications to determine requirements for delegated steel design
- Coordination with steel detailers and use of 3D BIM models to coordinate for delegated steel design
- Use of AISC code to provide efficient and safe steel designs
- Project coordination to include Request For Information (RFI) creation, communication with internal team and clients, review of project documentation.
