Monitoring heavy civil construction projects;
Dam and levee evaluations;
Geotechnical engineering analyses such as slope stability, settlement, bearing capacity, seismic, and seepage;
Geotechnical site characterization;
Project/task management and proposal preparation support;
Preparation of engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and permit applications; and
Fieldwork associated with design and construction services.

Overnight Travel:

Up to 90%
Current fieldwork is based out of the Red Bluff, TX area. Education and Licensure Bachelor’s degree in civil or geotechnical engineering. (required)
Advanced degree in civil or geotechnical engineering. (preferred)
Professional registration (i.e., P.E.) (required) Skills, Experience and Qualifications At least 7 years (8+ years preferred) directly relevant experience in a consulting environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
Knowledge of relevant geotechnical engineering software (e.g., slope stability). (required)
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required)
Excellent writing and communication skills. (required)
Field work and overnight travel. (required)
Current OSHA 40-hr

HAZWOPER

training and refreshers. (preferred)
Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required.
