With extensive experience in planning, design, permitting, and construction management, we serve both government agencies and private clients across multiple states. Summary We are seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to support utility and site development projects from our Englewood office. The ideal candidate will have strong CAD and GIS skills and experience in civil and municipal infrastructure design. Responsibilities Prepare construction plans and design drawings for water, sewer, stormwater, and site development projects. Support engineers with plan production, utility layouts, profiles, and grading. Use AutoCAD Civil 3D for drafting and design tasks. Integrate GIS data for utility mapping and coordination. Assist with quantity takeoffs, record drawings, and permit submittals. Requirements 2+ years of experience in civil or utility design (municipal or private development). Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS software (ArcGIS or similar). Familiarity with FDOT and/or local utility standards preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
