Summary You will serve as a Engineering Technician in the Construction Division (OICC5B) of

NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND ATLANTIC.

Responsibilities You will provide advice and solutions to assist in the resolution of technical matters requiring extensive knowledge of multiple construction trades. You will draw conclusions, prepare reports and make recommendations as necessary. You will coordinate with project designers and provide solutions to complex and diverse technical problems that impact project performance. You will utilize construction project scheduling knowledge and expertise to track the progress of assigned construction projects. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Tracking the progress of assigned construction projects and reviewing project scheduling problems or concerns to provides solutions 2. Making on-site visits to determine facility/site condition and developing engineering layout recommendations. 3. Preparing or reviewing technical engineering specifications and statements of work covering engineering designs or changes.
