GIS Full Job Description Overview:

Kimley-Horn’s Nashville, Tennessee (TN) office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of experience to join our Natural Gas team.

Responsibilities:

As a critical member of the team, you will perform a variety of civil engineering tasks and will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship, camaraderie, and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions. Our Renewable Energy team works on projects including:

Pipeline Design Natural Gas Metering and Regulation Stations Pipeline Integrity Management Natural Gas Compressor Stations Control Design and Integration Client Management Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Valid drivers license required 1+ years of applicable work experience strongly preferred EIT Certification Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Highly proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and/or GIS Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Valid drivers license required 1+ years of applicable work experience strongly preferred EIT Certification Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Highly proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and/or GIS This is not a remote position Why Kimley-Horn?: At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
