Entry Level Civil Engineering Technician Job Description We are seeking entry-level Civil Engineering Technicians to support upcoming work in West Tennessee, the person, and NE Arkansas. The technician will learn to perform QA/QC testing on concrete, soils, and aggregates from commercial construction sites. This role involves conducting tests both in the field and materials lab, including slump, air, compression, temperature (concrete); density (soil & aggregates), proctors, and Atterberg limits. Responsibilities Perform QA/QC testing on concrete, soils, and aggregates from commercial construction sites. Conduct tests in the field and materials lab, including slump, air, compression, temperature (concrete); density (soil & aggregates), proctors, and Atterberg limits. Ensure accurate and timely test results to maintain quality standards. Document and report test results to relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with construction teams to ensure materials meet project specifications. Essential Skills Basic knowledge of construction. Comfortable working outside. Experience in testing construction materials such as concrete, soils, or aggregates (preferred). ACI Level I concrete testing certification (preferred). Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in construction materials testing. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in testing and reporting. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
