Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Electrical Maintenance Technician for 2nd Shift to support our operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading complex electrical and mechanical systems. This technician will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of industrial equipment and automation systems throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across the plant. Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components on a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment. Install and configure PLC, HMI, and servo systems as needed for new or existing production lines. Use advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve system faults. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, ladder logic, and technical documentation to accurately perform maintenance tasks and upgrades. Work with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements and system modifications. Log all maintenance and repair activities in the system and participate in root-cause analysis for recurring issues. Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in a technical field or vocational school training preferred. A minimum of 5 years of related on-the-job experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role required. Intermediate-to-advanced experience troubleshooting, installing, and setting up PLC, HMI, and servo systems, both locally and remotely. Hands-on experience programming Allen Bradley 500 AB processors using RSLogix software and ControlLogix 5000 platforms. Experience with Allen Bradley PanelView HMIs is highly preferred. Strong understanding of control systems, including sensors, relays, VFDs, and electrical panel design. Proven ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Must be safety-focused with a strong attention to detail.
