Responsibilities:

Ensuring proper operation of all electrical/control systemcomponents including electronic components, motors, solenoids,limit switches, programmable logic control (PLC) I/O modules andphoto-eye sensors Troubleshooting, problem solving and resolving issues atmachine centers and throughout the production facility Performing high level electrical audits and adjustments peroriginal equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications Working as a team with Supervisors, Maintenance team members,and Operations to plan, procure and document activities for theenhancement of electrical and instrumentation maintenance withinthe facility Mentoring and sharing knowledge with other technicians onmaintenance and troubleshooting of PLCs, instrumentation, andcontrols Performing preventative and predictive maintenance to ensurequality and production goals are met Applying all applicable codes, regulations, reliabilitystrategies, corporate and OEM standards Working with the Maintenance team to improve operationsproductivity and quality by anticipating and eliminating potentialdelays through planning, and coordination of labor, parts,material, tools and equipment access Reviewing, developing and/or modifying work orders for allplant equipment Contacting vendors and manufacturers as needed for support inresolving issues Assisting in the development and implementation of reliabilitycentered maintenance strategies Ability and willingness to work shift work and weekends

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED. 2 years electrical and instrument experience in heavyindustrial industry, construction or military. Currently working asE&I mechanic/technician. (A two year degree in IndustrialElectricity & Instrumentation can be used to meet part of theexperience requirements.) Strong commitment to safety required.
