Job Description
Education:
High School DiplomaMonths/Years of Experience:
Seven (7) years, experience performing non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity, using operational precedents which are not fully applicable.
Required Qualifications:
U.S. Citizen. Security Clearance. Previous experience with x-ray testing.
Desired Qualifications:
Initial 40Hr radiation Safety Training and current with yearly 8hr refreshersIRRSP (Industrial Radiographer Radiation Safety Program) certified for XR methodLVL II Radiographer certified to NAS 410 for FilmLVL II Radiographer certified to NAS 410 DigitalFamiliar with
ASTM E1742
Standard Practice for Radiographic ExaminationExperience with Radiological Affairs Safety Office (RASO) and performed or assisted in their inspections of Open and or Shielded Facilities.
Familiar with Radiological Affairs Safety Program Manual (RAD-010) most current revision.
Fluent in film interpretation.
Experience with Computed Tomography (CT)Shock and Vibration experience
Skills Needed:
Strong knowledge with Microsoft Office software suite (i.e. MS Word, MS Teams, etc.)Experience with Data Acquisition (DAQ) equipmentExperience with setting up or manipulating computer networks and databases
Duties:
Performs one or a combination of such typical duties as: Assembling or installing equipment or parts requiring simple wiring, soldering, or connecting. Performing simple or routine x-ray tasks or tests in an ordnance environment. Gathering and maintaining specified records of engineering data such as tests, drawings, etc.; performing computations by substituting numbers in specified formulas; plotting data and draws simple curves and graphs.
