Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technician III to support precision assembly and testing of rocket engine components. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in propulsion systems and a passion for hands-on work in a fast-paced aerospace environment. This position is key to ensuring the performance, safety, and reliability of critical hardware.

Job Responsibilities:

Assemble rocket engine components with precision, including combustion devices, valves, turbomachinery, and avionics.
Conduct root cause analysis and diagnostic component disassembly, repair, and work.
Perform hydraulic testing for valve actuation and nitrogen and helium leak testing.
Prepare components for environmental testing and hydro proof structural testing.
Inspect components in detail to tolerances of 0.0001in and maintain strict cleanliness requirements.
Support the design, procurement, installation, and integration of custom manufacturing and test equipment.

Skills Required:

4 to 6 years of direct experience in valve, turbomachinery, or engine assembly.
Mastery of precision and tight tolerance assembly.
Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and extensive experience reading and understanding specification and detailed work instructions.
Proven experience and successful track record developing new processes.
Strong written, personal, technical, and software skills (CAD, Scheduling, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc).
Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately at all levels of the organization.
