Job Title:
Technician III – D Shift
Job Responsibilities:
Assemble rocket engine components with precision, including combustion devices, valves, turbomachinery, and avionics.
Conduct root cause analysis and diagnostic component disassembly and repair.
Perform hydraulic testing for valve actuation and nitrogen and helium leak testing.
Prepare components for environmental testing and conduct hydroproof structural testing of components.
Maintain strict cleanliness requirements and support the design and integration of custom manufacturing and test equipment.
Develop and deploy new manufacturing methods to improve quality and optimize build schedule.
Skills Required:
4 to 6 years of direct valve, turbomachinery, or engine assembly experience.
Mastery of precision and tight tolerance assembly.
Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Extensive experience reading and understanding specifications and detailed work instructions.
Proven experience and successful track record developing new processes.
Strong written, personal, technical, and software skills (CAD, Scheduling, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc).
