Integration Engineering Technician II – A
Location:
Huntsville, AL Job Responsibilities:
Conduct pressure tests on rocket engine components including valves, housings, manifolds, and combustion chambers
Identify root causes of non-conformities
Perform nitrogen and helium leak tests, as well as environmental tests such as vibration and thermal
Carry out hydrostatic proof testing and water flow testing
Assemble test tooling and maintain cleanliness standards for fuel and oxidizer valves
Develop and implement manufacturing improvements to enhance efficiency and throughput.
Skills Required:
0-8 years of experience in pressure systems and component testing
Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings
Extensive experience in understanding detailed work instructions and specifications
Proven track record in developing new processes
Strong written, personal, technical, and software skills (CAD, Scheduling, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive professional relationships
