Job Title:
Technician – Integration Engineering II – B Shift
Location:
Huntsville, AL Job Responsibilities:
Assemble precision rocket engine components, including combustion devices, valves, turbomachinery, and avionics
Conduct root cause analysis and repair work on disassembled components
Perform hydraulic testing for valve actuation and leak testing with Nitrogen and Helium
Prepare components for environmental and hydro proof structural testing
Support the design and integration of custom manufacturing and test equipment
Identify and implement new or improved manufacturing methods to enhance quality and efficiency
Skills Required:
0-8 years of experience in valve, turbomachinery, or engine assembly
Proficiency in precision and tight tolerance assembly
Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and detailed work instructions
Proven track record in developing new processes
Excellent written, personal, technical, and software skills (CAD, Scheduling, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
Physical Requirements:
Ability to climb ladders and stairs, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. for limited durations
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as necessary, and willingness to travel for the first 6-12 months for training
Skills Assessment:
Familiarity with operating testing systems (hydraulic or pneumatic)
Experience working with specific tolerances
Experience in performing precision assembly processes
