Huntsville, AL Role Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on Integration Engineering Technician II•B Shift to support the precision assembly, testing, and integration of rocket engine components. This B Shift role involves working with high-tolerance hardware, hazardous systems, and custom manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and inspect rocket engine components (valves, turbomachinery, combustion devices, avionics) to tolerances of 0.0001 in
Perform hydraulic, nitrogen, helium, and hydrostatic testing
Support environmental test preparation and structural proof testing
Maintain oxygen-compatible cleanliness standards
Disassemble and diagnose components for root cause analysis and repair
Support the design, integration, and maintenance of custom manufacturing/test equipment
Develop and refine manufacturing methods to improve quality, cost, and schedule
Create and maintain work instructions for inspection, fabrication, assembly, and test
Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions

Qualifications:

0-8 years of experience in valve, turbomachinery, or engine assembly
Expertise in precision assembly and interpreting engineering drawings
Strong understanding of specifications and detailed work instructions
Proven ability to develop and implement new processes
Proficiency in CAD, scheduling, issue tracking, and Microsoft Office tools
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee

Physical Requirements:

Ability to climb ladders/stairs and lift up to 50 lbs
Flexible to work overtime, weekends, and variable schedules
Willingness to travel for training (6-12 months)
