Laser Operator – Paragould Position Available In Greene, Arkansas

Job Duties:

Set up, operate, and maintain laser cutting machines, including the Amada 9K

ENSIS 4020

Fiber Optic Laser, to cut materials up to 1″ thick with precision and accuracy. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and DXF files to program and configure laser cutting parameters for optimal results. Load and unload materials, align and calibrate laser beams, and adjust settings to ensure precise cuts and high-quality output. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Conduct dimensional inspections using precision tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify parts meet customer specifications and quality standards. Document production activities, including part counts, material usage, and any issues, and report defective materials or equipment malfunctions to supervisors. Collaborate with team members across departments to support production schedules and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Must have high school diploma or GED Able to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and DXF files to program and configure laser cutting parameters for optimal results Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings Knowledge of safety regulations At least 1-2 years of experience operating a CNC laser cutting machine Experience with Amanda or Trumpf lasers preferred Forklift operation experience or willing to trained on one is a plus Familiarity with precision measuring tools – calipers, micrometers, gauges Familiarity with laser cutting machines Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading materials and operating machinery

Work Schedule:
