Cincinnati Aviation Component Service Center:
Our ACSC facility develops and conducts a wide array of engine component repairs – including rotating parts, complex assemblies and nozzles on 29 different engine models.
Role Over:
Apply a practical knowledge of electronic theory, related electrical circuitry, machine tool repair, in the installation, modification, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and overhaul of mechanical/electronic production and facility equipment.
Apply a familiarity with equipment components, systems, and their function, identifying malfunctions as mechanical, electrical, electronic, or combination of the above.
Use all types of precision measuring and test equipment associated with the evaluation of the function and repair of production and facility equipment.
Work from blueprints, schematics, wiring and circuit diagrams, instruction manuals, sketches, written and verbal instructions. Instruct and train others as required and perform related duties.
The Ideal Candidate:
Must have Strong working knowledge in industrial mechanical, electrical, electronic maintenance of PLCs, I/O points, C.N.C. controlled machine tools and related shop equipment
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
3+ year experience with industrial facilities maintenance work which could include welding, machine tool repair, pipe fitting, plumbing, rigging, millwright, carpentry, painting, and industrial electrical systems with the last 5 years OR Able to provide completed certificate of mechanical/electrical trade education program and/or experience equivalent (Journeyman programs, military mechanical experience, vocational/associate degree, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong working knowledge as related to the installation, modification, troubleshooting, and high technology manufacturing equipment
Strong working knowledge as related to industrial electrical services (3-phase less than 600V), mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic devices
Experience with basic use of computers, applications, and keyboarding (e.g., email, Microsoft Excel, etc.)
Strong working knowledge as related to electronic theory, electrical pneumatic, hydraulic, power/control circuitry, mechanics of machine tools and related shop equipment
Possess analytical skills and capabilities required to interpret faulty circuit components of interfaced mechanical/electrical/electronic systems
Must be able to read, interpret, and modify electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings and schematics
Skilled in application and operation of mechanical and electronic precision measuring and testing equipment
Experience using measuring devices such as micrometers, verniers, dial indicators and various gauges.
Proficient in the use of shop math as necessary, including fractions, and decimals
Experience in performing maintenance on level and flow instruments, including pumps, and on various types of motors and drives
Experience in reading and following schematics, drawings, and follow GD&T on blueprints
Experience utilizing precision measuring equipment and machine tools (drills, saws, sheers, etc.)
Basic understanding / working knowledge of federal, state, and city safety, building codes and National Electric Code
Basic understanding of chemical handling
Experience in operating material handling and lifting devices, including ability to obtain forklift license as required
Self-direct daily work orders with a minimum of supervision
Possess analytical aptitude with methodical attention to detail
Additional Information:
Wages $40.04 per hour based on experience
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds on occasion. Items more than 40 pounds will be lifted with assistance.
