Team Technician – Weekend Shift 4 Position Available In Capitol Planning Region, Connecticut

Akkodis is seeking a Team Technician•Weekend Shift 4 for a Contract job with a client in Southington, CT . Candidates must be proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components while supporting continuous improvement and equipment changeovers.

Note:

Thursdays and Fridays•10:45 PM to 7:15 AM and Saturdays and Sundays•6:45 PM to 7:15

AM Rate Range:

$26/hour to $29/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Team Technician•Weekend Shift 4 job responsibilities include: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated and semi-automated production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Perform machine setups and product changeovers, ensuring proper line clearance and tooling adjustments. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks and complete required documentation such as process parameters and startup checklists. Diagnose and resolve equipment performance issues, including sensors, controllers, servomotors, and valves. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying problems, recommending solutions, and verifying effectiveness. Assist in training new technicians and maintain 5S standards in assigned work areas.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required, technical certification or associate degree in electronics, mechanics, or a related field preferred. Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing or automated equipment environment. Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair automated machinery, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Pay Details:
