Qualifications:
Technical School or apprenticeship program inrelated field of electrical or electronic support and/or a minimumof 2 to 3 years of electronic technician work experience.
Additional considerations will be given to individuals with workingknowledge of: Computer hardware Microsoft Office LINUX and/orWindow operating system Ability to read engineering drawingsMilitary Background Communications and Electronics TechnicianIndividual must be able to obtain a government security clearanceto the SECRET level.
Description of Work:
Candidate will be amember of a team that assembles and tests finished products usingsub-assemblies, parts and fasteners. Fabricates and assembles cableharnesses, wires electrical chassis and electrical boxes.
Specificduties include:
Travel will be required for system installationWork with installation and engineering groups on mechanical andelectrical layout/design of product updates and new productreleases. Fabricating and design cable harnesses and wireassemblies. Wiring of electrical cables. Develop installation kitsfor use by system installers for product installation. Document andreport work performed
