This role is focused exclusively on the diagnosis, repair, installation, and replacement of pool equipment for residential homes, commercial facilities, apartments, hotels, spas, and hot tubs —including both in-ground and above-ground systems. The right candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical skills, experience with major equipment brands, and a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Duties Diagnose, repair, and replace a wide range of swimming pool equipment including: Pumps (Pentair WhisperFlo & IntelliFlo, Hayward TriStar & Super Pump, Jandy VS FloPro) Heaters (Pentair MasterTemp, Raypak, Hayward Universal H-Series – gas & electric) Filters (cartridge, DE, and sand systems from Pentair, Hayward, Waterway, and others) Salt systems (IntelliChlor, AquaRite, TruClear) Automation and control systems (iAquaLink, EasyTouch, OmniLogic) Timers, actuators, valves, blowers, lights, breakers, and relays Perform new equipment installs, retrofits, and system upgrades for energy efficiency and automation Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and plumbing issues in equipment sets and related systems Maintain tools and work vehicle in clean, professional condition Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues found, options available, and work completed Document service visits with photos, notes, and recommended follow-ups Requirements Hands-on experience repairing pool pumps, heaters, filters, and control panels is required Working knowledge of pool hydraulics, plumbing, and electrical wiring Familiarity with top equipment brands including Pentair, Hayward, Jandy, Raypak, and Waterway Comfortable working independently in the field with limited supervision Must have strong diagnostic ability and take pride in precise, reliable repair work Excellent communication and time management skills Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required Trade certifications (CPO, gas appliance, manufacturer-specific training) a plus but not required Why Join Us We’re a fast-growing, technician-first company with a reputation for doing things right the first time.
