• Job Description
• As an Electronics Repair Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and assembly of electronic avionics communication systems. You will work under general supervision, conducting circuit tests, maintaining engineering notebooks, preparing reports, assisting in product documentation, and ensuring lab supplies are well-stocked.
• Responsibilities
• + Conduct circuit tests and record test data.

+ Maintain engineering notebooks and prepare detailed reports. + Assist in product documentation and manage lab supplies. + Assemble, test, and collect data for electronic circuits and assemblies from schematics, rough sketches, or verbal instructions. + Independently test complex circuits and record results in lab notebooks. + Troubleshoot electronic analog circuits to determine and remedy malfunctions. + Troubleshoot existing products for possible manufacturing variances. + Perform repairs on customer-returned units to the factory service center professionally, thoroughly, and timely. + Ensure repaired units are in proper working order before returning them to customers. + Document repairs performed on customer repair tickets accurately and clearly. + Maintain a clean and organized area for repairing customer units. + Ensure service center tools and equipment are kept in proper working order.

• Essential Skills
• + Proficiency in repair, soldering, and troubleshooting skills. + Knowledge of schematic diagrams, electronics assembly, soldering, and use of test equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters. + Ability to troubleshoot systems combining various circuits and diagnose to component level.
• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Knowledge of basic solid-state components and circuits such as diodes, transistors, and amplifiers.

+ Ability to solder and de-solder components, including SMD devices. + Candidates with J Standard for soldering preferred but not required; certification provided if hired. + Training in

AS-9110, AS-9100, J-STD-001

CIS, FOD, and CUI management.

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $24.00 – $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
