Laser Technician Prestige Health and Beauty Sciences Academy 1250 East Hallandale Beach Boulevard, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009 Licensed Electrology Instructor (Candela) Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Licensed Electrology Instructor with experience using Candela laser technology to join our growing beauty and wellness education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrolysis and laser hair removal, paired with a genuine desire to educate and inspire the next generation of electrologists. This role requires technical precision, a student-focused mindset, and a commitment to maintaining industry standards and safety protocols. Duties Instruct students in laser hair removal procedures using Candela equipment, including GentleMax Pro and similar platforms Deliver theoretical and practical training in electrology , laser safety, and treatment protocols Prepare lesson plans, presentations, and demonstrations in accordance with licensing and accreditation requirements Supervise and assess students during hands-on clinical sessions to ensure correct technique and hygiene Stay current on industry trends, laser advancements , and state board requirements Maintain equipment, ensure proper calibration, and adhere to strict health and safety regulations Provide mentorship, constructive feedback, and career guidance to students in training Collaborate with school leadership to improve curriculum and student outcomes Requirements Valid Electrology License and Instructor Certification (as per Florida or state-specific regulations) Hands-on experience with Candela laser systems and other professional laser hair removal equipment Strong knowledge of laser safety standards (ANSI, OSHA, etc.) and treatment protocols Prior teaching or training experience in a clinical or classroom setting is highly preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and mentor students Strong organizational and classroom management skills Commitment to promoting safe, ethical, and professional electrology practices Join us in shaping the future of beauty and wellness education by empowering students with cutting-edge skills in laser and electrology! to inspire the next generation of licensed professionals.
