Job Description
The Electronics Technician serves as a key resource for the Engineering department, responsible for the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of prototype circuit boards. This role supports product development by building and debugging hardware for R&D efforts and warranty investigation. The technician works independently and collaboratively under the direction of the Electronics Lab Supervisor.
salary:
$20 – $25 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM – 4
PMeducation:
High SchoolResponsibilities Assemble, test, modify, and repair developmental electronic circuit boards using knowledge of electronics, circuitry, physics, and mathematics. Perform component-level diagnostics and repairs on PCBA assemblies exhibiting power, communication, or functional failures. Build and troubleshoot experimental circuits and full prototypes in accordance with engineering instructions, technical documentation, and system knowledge. Proficiently operate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and power supplies. Interpret and utilize technical documents including schematics, BOMs, engineering change notices, debug guides, and test procedures. Support Engineering and Customer Service in analyzing board failures to improve circuit designs and reduce warranty claims. Collaborate with team members to meet departmental quality and yield goals for prototype builds and diagnostic turnaround. Follow all company safety guidelines, health regulations, and security protocols. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
