The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and be proficient in various maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues related to HVAC/R systems, electrical components, and other machinery. The Service Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency and safety for our customers. We are an owner operated business and like to build a family like environment for our team. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R systems, ensuring optimal performance. Utilize welding techniques, including soldering, for equipment repairs and modifications. Operate scissor lifts safely to access elevated work areas for maintenance tasks. Conduct electrical work, including low voltage and high voltage installations and repairs. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules. Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide insights on equipment performance and customer needs. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of service activities, inventory, and parts used during repairs. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing all duties. Qualifications Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role within a manufacturing facility. Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, electrical systems, and industrial machinery. Experience operating scissor lifts and other relevant equipment safely. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking is preferred. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers. Relevant certifications in electrical work or HVAC/R are a plus.
