Job Description:
PLC Maintenance:
Performing routine maintenance on PLC systems to ensure their reliability and functionality
Troubleshooting:
Identifying and resolving issues with PLCs and related equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productively
Repair:
repairing or replacing faulty components within PLC systems, including sensors, actuators, and communication modules
Programming:
Writing, modifying, and debugging PLC programs to optimize equipment performance and meet production requirements
Documentation:
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance schedules
Collaboration:
Collaborating with other maintenance technicians, engineers, and production staff to address complex technical issues and improve overall equipment efficiency
Safety:
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures while performing maintenance tasks
Continuous Improvement:
Participating in continuous improvements initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
- Proven experience in PLC maintenance and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in programming PLCs, preferably using platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Mitsubishi.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with industrial automation systems, HMI, and SCADA systems.
