Job Description:

Startech Networks, Inc. is seeking an experienced BIC OSP FieldEngineer with US Work Authorization to join our growing team inPalm Beach County, Florida. The successful candidate must possessthe knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience requirementsoutlined below. They should have a thorough understanding ofvarious AT&T related OSP Wireline processes and guidelines. Werequire local candidates.

Salary:

$30 Per Hour, W2 or 1099

JobDetails:

Should be able to understand and perform scoping of OSPrelated projects. Should have good Customer, Vendor, and ProjectManagement Skills. Should be able to communicate effectively overthe phone, via email, and in person. Design, provision, document,outside plant fiber optic cable (UG, Aerial, and Buried). Must alsounderstand manhole and conduit design. Able to read and understandwork prints from various drafting systems, such as AutoCAD andARAMIS. Must be able to take field notes following OSP DesignPrinciples and having the ability to transfer those notes into KMZfile is a plus. Google Earth knowledge is a plus. Must understandpole loading and ROW permit needs. Must be able to understand FTTxand

design is a plus. Must be legally authorized towork in the United States of America. Should be flexible for shortbusiness trips if needed and have flexible schedule as work,although very infrequent, sometimes requires weekend work. Abilityto maintain efficient working timelines while multitasking severaldifferent projects at one time. Must be organized and capable oftracking work due dates and expectations.
