This includes working on control systems, sensors, communication systems, SCADA systems, security systems, and other facility electronics that ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electronic systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HMIs, sensors, motor control panels, SCADA systems, and communications equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in electronic and control systems. Perform preventative maintenance on electronic and control components to reduce downtime. Assist in the calibration of instruments and control devices. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Maintain documentation of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed. Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations. Collaborate with electricians, mechanics, and engineers on facility operations and upgrades. Requirements Associate degree or technical certificate in Electronics, Industrial Technology, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in electronics maintenance, preferably in an industrial or utility environment. Strong troubleshooting and repair skills related to electronic systems and low-voltage control circuits. Proficiency with test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers). Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, and automated control systems. Ability to work in industrial environments (odor, heat, noise, heights).
