Phone Repair Technician Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair issues with smartphones, including screen replacements, battery swaps, charging ports, cameras, and other internal components. Troubleshoot software issues such as operating system errors, app malfunctions, and data recovery. Test and inspect devices to ensure full functionality before and after repairs. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and customer interactions. Provide technical support and advice to customers on mobile device care and maintenance. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workbench and tools. Follow company policies regarding ESD (electrostatic discharge) and data privacy. Stay current with industry trends, new devices, and repair techniques.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus (e.g., CompTIA, Apple ACiT, or Samsung certifications). 1+ year of hands-on experience in phone or electronics repair. Proficiency in repairing iOS and Android devices. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple repairs simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with tablets and other mobile electronics. Knowledge of liquid damage diagnostics and micro-soldering (a plus, but not required). Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

$15.00 – $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
