Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanically Centric Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical systems and machinery to ensure smooth operations. You will work to troubleshoot, inspect, and fix mechanical equipment, as well as perform preventive maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular maintenance on mechanical systems, lamination equipment, and machinery to ensure proper functionality.
  • Perform maintenance on resin gel and putty guns to ensure proper functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and other machinery components.
  • Inspect and test machinery for performance, safety, and compliance with company standards.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to perform maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance according to scheduled timelines.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are documented, including work orders and inventory updates.
  • Collaborate with other team members to identify potential improvements or upgrades to existing equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, procedures, and best practices while on the job.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and malfunctions to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; a relevant technical certification or degree is a plus. Proven experience in marine maintenance, with a strong understanding of marine equipment and systems. Leadership and supervisory skills to manage a maintenance team effectively. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the marine industry. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic marine environment.
