E & I Technicians Career Recruiting Specialists, LLC Macon, GA 31206 E&I Technicians for Macon, Georgia Major Manufacturing Company Global manufacturing company located in Macon, GA is now hiring their maintenance team. They will be hiring a total of 3-5 E&I Technicians. These positions are direct hire full-time jobs.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform maintenance duties to troubleshoot and repair defective equipment in a timely manner. Perform predictive and preventative maintenance duties. Work closely with all team members to ensure that work is done in a safe manner. Works with engineers to install new equipment and modify existing equipment. Assist other team members as necessary to minimize downtime and maintain quality Comply with all company policies as well as local, state and federal laws/regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of five years electrical experience. Proven safety record and working knowledge of industrial safety procedures. Effective oral and written skills. Must be able to wear all required personal safety equipment including eye protection, hearing protection and fall protection in elevated positions. Ability to be part of a multi-functional/multi-skill maintenance organization with a willingness to flow to work as required by changing mill conditions and priorities. Working knowledge of MS Office, Word and Excel.
PREFER ABILITIES
Applicant must successfully complete electrical aptitude test, pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check. 480 and 2300 VAC motors and controls. Industrial electrical and instrumentation maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Distributed Control Systems (DCS). Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). AC and/or DC Motors and Drives Electrical power distribution systems. Paper Mill E&I maintenance a plus
