Description
- Travel to customer sites for project commissioning and installation (between 10-20% travel can be required).
- Utilizing advanced knowledge of electrical theory and principles of operation.
- Will produce logic for custom automation equipment utilizing Rockwells Studio5000 design software
- Will produce HMIs for custom automation equipment utilizing FactoryTalk View and Ignition platforms
- With minimal supervision, will assist in specifying PLC’s, HMI’s, servo systems, motors, drives, sensors, and vision sensors, based on our customers’ controls standards criteria and scope of work
- Occasional production of electrical drawings through the use of AutoCAD software
- Producing quotations for custom industrial automation applications and seeing the project through until installation and commissioning
- Assesses, identifies, and makes program modifications in PLC logic and HMI programs to improve individual equipment and overall system performance
- Performs high level troubleshooting, in-depth critical thinking, and utilizes all internal & external resources to solve any electrical, mechanical or process problem
- Assists others in troubleshooting machinery, equipment, components and programs including PLC’s, HMI’s, Servos and Robotic systems
- Supports electrical crew during machine installation and commissioning projects. This includes interfacing auxiliary equipment, identifying and correcting errors in programming and wiring and ensuring we are meeting the needs and expectations of our customers
- Expected to keep abreast of all of the new controls technologies, industry trends, and standards that may affect our customers’ current operations
- Create and modify schematic drawings using AutoCAD software

- Extensive experience working with servos, motors, time drives, etc.
- BS, Electrical or Computer Engineering, preferred, not required
