Electrical Technician – Industrial Automation (Travel Role) Joblio Newnan, GA 30265 Electrical Technician – Industrial Automation (Travel Role) Based in Newnan, GA | Travel 50-70% across the U.S. Full-Time | $25-$35/hour Join a global leader in automation and material handling solutions, as we continue to grow our U.S. operations. What You’ll Do Install & Wire :
Assemble and wire material handling systems, including control panels, conveyors, and automation equipment.
Read & Interpret :
Use electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints to guide installation and troubleshooting.
Troubleshoot :
Identify and resolve issues across electrical and mechanical components on-site.
Travel :
Work at project sites across the U.S., supporting installs and system commissioning (up to 70% travel).
Operate Equipment :
Use lifts, forklifts, and other heavy industrial tools as needed.
Maintain Standards :
Follow safety protocols, quality procedures, and customer site requirements.
Work Independently & Collaboratively :
Contribute to a high-performance team while also managing solo assignments when required. What You Bring 2+ years of experience in industrial automation or related field. Proficiency in reading electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings . Skilled in wiring from control panels to field devices (motors, sensors, PLCs). Experience building and wiring electric control panels . Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities. Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines. Willing and able to travel extensively (60-70%). Familiarity with material handling equipment , conveyors, or automated warehouse systems. Electrician certification a plus.
