Building Automation Technician Vantage Consulting Somerville, NJ 08876 Automation and Controls Technician – cGMP Manufacturing W2 Contract $55-60 per hour | No C2C, must have right to work in the US without restriction Seeking an engineer to support building automation and control systems in a cGMP manufacturing environment. This role focuses on daily system support, troubleshooting, data monitoring, and ongoing improvements to ensure safe, compliant operations for clinical and commercial production. The engineer will work independently and cross-functionally to ensure robust system performance and compliance. Key Responsibilities Maintain and support BAS, EMS, and related systems Troubleshoot issues, manage deviations, and implement corrections Monitor data performance and system health Execute SOPs including backups and disaster recovery Manage network configuration for automation systems Generate reports, support audits, and coordinate with vendors Train users and assist with documentation and compliance tasks Requirements Bachelor’s in Engineering, IT, or related field 2+ years in automation and controls, preferably with Honeywell or Siemens systems Experience in aseptic or GMP-regulated environments Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, and data integrity standards Strong organizational, communication, and troubleshooting skills Experience with systems like BAS, EMS, TrackWise, CMMS, Maximo Proficient in
