The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in equipment repair. As a Bench Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various electronic and mechanical systems. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to interpret schematics effectively. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using appropriate testing tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. Perform repairs on low voltage systems, ensuring all work meets safety standards. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment. Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs efficiently. Collaborate with field service technicians to resolve complex issues that may arise during installations or repairs. Interpret schematics to understand system layouts and identify potential problems. Ensure all workspaces are kept clean and organized, adhering to company safety protocols. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair. Proficient in using testing instruments such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. Familiarity with low voltage systems and their maintenance requirements. Experience as a service technician or in a similar role is preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics accurately. Competence in using hand tools effectively for various repair tasks.
