Electronics Refurb Technician eWaste ePlanet – 4.0 Norcross, GA Job Details Full-time $18 – $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Customer service ERP systems E-commerce High school diploma or GED Bachelor’s degree Organizational skills Communication skills Entry level Help desk Full Job Description Hardware Testing & Refurbishment Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on various electronic equipment including: A/V components (amplifiers, receivers, etc.) Point-of-Sale (POS) systems Printers (laser, thermal, dot matrix) Networking gear (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.) Projectors, LCD Monitors, etc. Docking stations, KVM, adapters, and more. Follow established protocols for functional testing and diagnostics Perform secure data erasure in compliance with company and industry standards Clean, recondition, and prepare items for resale Inventory items on ERP systems and record all relevant information eCommerce Operations Photograph tested and cleaned products with an eye for detail and visual appeal Write clear, accurate, and compelling product descriptions Conduct pricing and marketability research using platforms like eBay and other reseller tools Create and manage listings on eCommerce platforms When needed—Assist in packaging and preparing sold items for shipping, ensuring quality presentation

Qualifications Required:

High School Diploma Genuine interest in electronics and how they work Basic troubleshooting skills and willingness to learn more advanced diagnostics Familiarity with different types of tech hardware (A/V, POS, printers, networking equipment) Ability to follow testing procedures, checklists, and secure data destruction protocols Strong written communication skills for product descriptions and customer interactions Good eye for value—able to determine market potential of items based on online research Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Ability to track and report daily productivity Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Preferred:

Experience selling on eCommerce platforms Prior work in IT hardware, electronics repair, or similar technical field Familiarity with ERP/inventory management systems Customer service or help desk experience Bachelor’s degree Additional Information Physical requirements: must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a warehouse/bench setting

Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00
