Fiber Technician Position Available In Gwinnett, Georgia

We’re hiring Fiber Technicians to support structured cabling projects across the Atlanta area. This role involves installing, terminating, testing, and splicing fiber and copper cabling systems.

Responsibilities:

Install, splice (mechanical & fusion), and test fiber optic cables (LC, SC, MPO, etc.) Terminate and troubleshoot

CAT3/CAT5/CAT6

copper cabling Build telecom closets, racks, patch panels, and grounding systems Use OTDR and Fluke testers for diagnostics and certification Complete documentation (timesheets, work orders, material logs)

Requirements:

Experience with fiber and copper cabling systems Ability to read blueprints and follow structured cabling standards Reliable transportation and willingness to travel Able to lift 50-75 lbs, work at heights, and in confined spaces Strong communication and problem-solving skills Knowledge of OSP/ISP installations (preferred) Familiarity with TIA/EIA standards and labeling practices (preferred)
