Field Technician 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars 2005 Newpoint Pkwy Ste 200, Lawrenceville, GA 30043 Experience 2 to 4 years of experience, preferably in the Electro-Mechanical Field as a Field Service Technician, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Skills Strong reading, writing, and communication skills Work Requirements Function test and calibrate electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical systems Ability to read and interpret manufacture manuals, specifications, wiring diagrams, and schematics Troubleshoot issues both in a shop and field environment and knowledge to identify and correct problems Competent with electrical instrumentation and test equipment such as volt/amperage meters Proficient with hand tools such as screwdrivers, strippers, crimpers, tape measure, etc Prepare daily reports including analysis, and solutions Complete travel, time sheets, and expense reports efficiently Analyze test results to determine causes of failure and implement solutions, including replacing defective components Collaborate with engineering, production and others to resolve testing issues Willingness to travel greater than 50% of the time and spend 2-6 weeks and at times greater than 6 weeks away from home at a time Requirement to work 7 days per week, 12 hour shifts. Shift work may be on dayshift or nightshift as required Need to be able to lift 40 pounds Work Environment Oil and Gas, paper & Pulp Mill, Fossil Power, Chemical environments
