What You’ll Do:
As a Repair & Refurbishing Technician, you’ll play a critical role in receiving, inspecting, testing, and repairing customer returns including Cameras and other electronic components, troubleshoot down to the PCB level, and ensure high-quality repairs while maintaining excellent customer communication. What you will need to be successful on the job:
Inspect & Repair:
Receive and assess customer returns, troubleshooting issues down to the PCB component level.
Technical Diagnostics:
Use digital multimeters, power supplies, and customer-specific testing systems to pinpoint faults. Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of digital & analog circuitry, schematic reading, and
Precision Soldering:
Perform SMT soldering and hot-air rework on PCB components.
Data & System Management:
Process transactions in ERP systems, maintain records in spreadsheets and databases.
Customer Support:
Communicate technical findings and updates via email and web applications.
Product Handling:
Disassemble and reassemble units with mechanical precision.
Investigate & Resolve:
Research inconsistencies and correct issues as needed.
Organized Workflow:
Follow SOPs and track warranty & out-of-stock issues efficiently.
Adaptability:
Work on special returns and multitask multiple projects. Physical Ability
