Job Responsibilities:

Extensive experience in troubleshooting, interpreting, modifying, and programming PLCs. Proficient in working with Allen Bradley PLCs. Experience using control logic and ladder logic for automation systems. Ability to draw and design PLC and electrical circuits. Troubleshoot, design, upgrades, and install electrical equipment, circuits, and systems. Improves equipment reliability and uptime through effective maintenance and troubleshooting. Research and procure necessary supplies, parts, and machines to complete work orders. Performs and documents work orders and preventative maintenance tasks. Maintains accurate records, including maintenance logs, manuals, drawings, and preventative maintenance (PM) logs.

Education and Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; a 2-year technical degree of certification in electronics, automation or programming is highly preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting projects involving PLCs, either by overseeing contractors or writing PLC and HMI programming independently. Strong working knowledge of three-phase 460V and higher electrical systems, including component sizing, design, and installation. Minimum two (2) years of hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing electrical components such as sensors, circuit breakers, and control panels. Experience troubleshooting motors, air compressors, pumps, AC/DC drives, and other industrial electrical systems. Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English fluently, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to perform mathematical calculations involving weight, volume, and distance (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues involving limited concrete variables using logical and scientific thinking.
