Non-Exempt; Eligible for overtime Job Description Enginuity Global is looking to hire E & I Technicians to join our team. This position will be based out of Baton Rouge, LA. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional mechanical skills and knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems and power distribution applications. Responsibilities Must have a strong understanding of NEC Strong understanding of Safety procedures & OSHA guidelines Ability to read and understand blueprints, one-line, schematics & installation drawings. Install and terminate Electrical equipment, control devices, Instruments, and power distribution panels Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install electrical conduit. Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and instrumentation systems in an industrial environment Be knowledgeable in using various types of testing equipment, TREX, Fluke 789, Fluke 754 etc. Knowledge of P&ID’s, Loop Diagrams, Installation Details & Cable Schedules
SCADA & PLC/EFM/POC/DCS
equipment Wireless, Ethernet & Fiber Optic communication systems TAR, Checkouts, Commissioning and Startup Knowledge of Oil Field based PLC/Control Systems Supervise and/or direct crews as needed, if applicable Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals Communicate with clients in a professional manner while representing the company in a positive manner Ability to work with little and/or no supervision
