Full Job Description Now Hiring:
Onsite Calibration Technicians! JM Test Systems is looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Onsite Calibration Technician to join our team. This role involves frequent travel to customer sites to perform calibrations, qualifications, and preventative maintenance on inspection, measurement, and test equipment (IM&TE). You’ll help ensure precision, safety, and compliance with top industry standards—all while delivering excellent customer service. What You’ll Do:
Travel to customer locations to perform onsite calibration and testing services. Calibrate and maintain electrical, mechanical, dimensional, and physical equipment. Follow procedures and specifications from manufacturers and clients. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct measurement issues. Maintain equipment, trailers, and company vehicles used in fieldwork. Accurately document all work performed and submit timely calibration reports. Communicate effectively with customers and represent JM Test Systems professionally.
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or GED required. Strong technical and mechanical aptitude —able to work confidently with tools, instruments, and measurement equipment. Associates degree, technical training, or military experience a plus. Clean driving record and ability to travel frequently (regionally and occasionally longer distances). Comfortable working in mobile labs, outdoor environments, and confined spaces. Physically able to lift 50 lbs. and drive long distances.

Technicians earn $2.00/hour additional pay when assigned to a project. Meal subsistence provided when traveling 50+ miles and away for 12+ hours. All travel expenses fully covered, including: Vehicle & Fuel Hotel Accommodations TWIC and OSHA card costs (including renewals) covered by JM Test Systems. All required PPE provided by the company for specific projects.
Work Environment:
Field-based work at customer sites, both indoor and outdoor. Use of mobile labs and travel trailers. Frequent regional travel required. Collaboration with a team of skilled technicians and supportive management.
