Heavy (21-50 lbs handled frequently)

Travel Requirements:

Frequent travel to client sites including offshore

Responsibilities:

Perform 3D laser scanning. Mobilize scanners and survey tools for active projects. Perform data upload, processing and registration tasks using software such as Faro Scene and Autodesk ReCap to produce 3D deliverables. Set up sites with targets, plan scan placement and capture the necessary data for the job scope. Visit job sites such as petrochemical plants, offshore platforms and construction sites as the job scope demands. Communicate on a daily basis with project managers. Work independently or within a 2-3 person crew when required. Maintain and ensure security for all equipment and accessories.

Requirements:

Must be able to climb ladders and stairs with the equipment when needed. Ability to travel when required. Must be able to walk with the equipment at client sites for extended periods. High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate. Attention to detail. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must have a TWIC or ability to pass a background check to obtain one.

Experience Preferred:

Previous experience with Faro Scene and Autodesk ReCap 3+ years of laser scanning experience.
