Job Description

The Instrumentation Technician located in Ville Platte, Louisiana is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues. Together, we create amazing technology that unlocks access to energy for the benefit of all. + Inspect, test, adjust, and repair electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems. + Ensure devices are installed properly and working at full capacity. + Maintain documentation of all inspections and functions + Test and calibrate instruments to ensure optimal performance. + Read and interpret circuit diagrams, blueprints, and schematics. + Install new instrumentation and control systems according to specifications and safety guidelines. + Collaborate with other technical personnel to resolve equipment issues. + Follow safety procedures and regulations while performing all tasks. + Provide training and guidance to less experienced technicians. + Order and manage inventory of instruments, parts, and equipment. + Proven experience as an Instrumentation Technician or similar role. + Strong knowledge of industrial systems and instrumentation. + Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures. + Good communication and teamwork skills. •Minimum Qualifications•: + High school diploma or GED required. + Preference of one-year certificate from technical school/college. + Requires 2 years’ experience in a related field.
