Starting pay of $42.52/hr and progression to $44.01/hr withinfirst 120 days There are further opportunities to advance payupwards of $50.40/hr with our pay for progression system. Benefits incl. THEOPPORTUNITY

Key responsibilities: Electrical & Instrumentation Technician Must have demonstrated mechanical/electrical knowledge toanalyse and solve problems on various process instrumentation andswitchgear. Must be able to inspect used parts to determine changes inperformance using VOM, oscilloscope, signal generator, rules,callipers, multimeter, feeler gauges and other measuringinstruments Must have prior experience in instrument calibrations anddocumentation in ISO 9000 or FDA facility Must have demonstrated proficiency in at least five of thefollowing areas: Documenting calibrators PLC ladder logic diagrams Configuration and calibration with HART communicator Troubleshooting of 460V 3 Phase electrical switchgear Troubleshooting motor control circuits Troubleshooting 4-20mA instrument control loops Maintenance and calibration of process analyzers includingcontinuous emissions monitors Rebuilding control valves Calibration of level transmitters DCS interface (Foxboro control system) Basic Job Skills Ability to follow all safety rules and identify and correctpotential safety problems Strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of tools andequipment Must be able to use precision-measuring and testing instrumentsin performance of mechanical and electrical repairs and preventivemaintenance Follow SOP?s and/or PM task instruction sets Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation, equipment/systems asrequired Maintain instrument maintenance and calibration on assignedmachines Dismantle instrumentation to gain access to and remove/replacedefective parts Identify and implement solutions to recurring instrumentproblems Repair and maintain all plant instrumentation in accordancewith diagrams, sketches, maintenance and repair manuals, andmanufacturer?s specifications Must be able to interface with CMMS (Computerized MaintenanceManagement System) to review work orders, create work orders, inputparts and labor used on work orders, look up spare parts andidentify storeroom location, and complete work orders(electronically) Ability to provide preventive maintenance to instrumentation,including process analyzers Ability to identify and order repair parts using from multiplesources, including vendor drawings and direct contact withmanufacturers Perform routine work as scheduled or as time permits andperforming preventive maintenance activities as time permits Ability to work both in a team environment and individually asrequired Communicate and work with other groups (process engineers,production technicians, quality control) as necessary to promoteefficiency in problem solving and work scheduling Communicate with production prior to starting a job and whenjob is completed Ability to clearly communicate information to team members Required to clean up after jobs are completed. Performhousekeeping as required in shops and in plant Must be able to identify need and request engineering/vendorassistance as required Assist Mechanical technicians as needed/as asked Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of thosethat must be met by an employee to successfully perform theessential functions of this job.
