R&M Electrical Technician I (

Broussard, LA) 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Broussard, LA 70518 The R&M Electrical Technician I under strict supervision, performs repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, and inspections on down-hole tool electronics and other equipment used in the application for down-hole tools, including Directional/ RSS or M/LWD sensors.
Pay Rate:
$23.50/hour
Assignment Length:
3 months contract with a high possibility of extension based on performance and other factors.
Shift Details:
Standard 40 hour work week with overtime.
Responsibilities:
Perform tasks with a focus on safety, efficiency, and effectiveness. Specialize in areas such as mechanical aptitude, electronics, computer skills, and the assembly and disassembly of tools associated with PSL equipment. Work with Measure While Drilling (MWD) and Logging While Drilling (LWD) down-hole tools.
Qualifications:
Technical school certificate or equivalent required. An associate degree or higher is preferred. Proficient computer skills. Strong measurement and math skills. Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts is a plus.
