Electronic Test Technician Position Available In Essex, Massachusetts

Electronic Test Technician NESC Staffing Corp Newburyport, MA 01950 We’re seeking a Test Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a technical background who can troubleshoot, test, and repair complex electronic products with precision and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform detailed testing on electronic assemblies, including both standard and non-standard performance parameters Troubleshoot and repair product issues down to the component level Use a variety of test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, etc.) to evaluate product performance Read and interpret board layouts, schematics, and technical drawings Record and analyze test data, report findings, and recommend solutions Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve product issues Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a Test Technician in an electronics or manufacturing environment Strong understanding of electronic components and circuit behavior Ability to read board layouts and interpret complex schematics Familiarity with scientific notation and basic electronics math Soldering experience (SMT and through-hole) preferred Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
