Job Description

Perform calibration, testing, and maintenance of precision electromechanical and mechanical instruments in accordance with specifications and regulatory standards.

Job Requirements:

Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline Minimum of 3 years of calibration or metrology-related experience Experience calibrating mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydro-mechanical, and pressure-type instruments Background in a regulated industry Proficiency with mechanical and electrical systems and tools

Preferred Skills:

Experience developing and adapting calibration methods and procedures Ability to interpret detailed specifications, blueprints, and drawings Familiarity with statistical process control procedures

Job Responsibilities:

Test, calibrate, adjust, and maintain various precision instruments Set up calibration sequences, procedures, and methods based on specifications Perform corrective actions for identified measurement issues Identify and apply appropriate measurement procedures Maintain calibration standards and ensure calibration lab is compliant and organized Generate Calibration Investigation Forms (CIF) to track equipment quality Evaluate and implement new calibration methods and procedures Interface with customers to determine calibration support requirements Complete assigned tasks per procedures, regulatory standards, and quality requirements
