Automation Technician Element2 Group Blackstone, MA 01504 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated systems and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of various technologies, including logic controllers and vision inspection systems, to ensure optimal performance and reliability of our automation processes. Duties Install, configure, and maintain automated machinery and control systems. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to logic controllers, low voltage systems, and hydraulics. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on automation equipment. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement improvements in automation processes. Provide field service support to customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist in the design and modification of automated systems. Document all maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Qualifications Strong knowledge of logic controllers and industrial maintenance practices. Experience with Calypso or similar vision inspection systems is preferred. Proficiency in low voltage electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand hydraulic systems. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
