Portland, ME Are you passionate about precision and quality in electronics? Our client is seeking a dedicated Soldering Technician to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring that electronic components and circuit boards meet the highest standards of quality and production. Responsibilities of the Soldering Technician Perform hand soldering of electronic components on PCBs, including through-hole and surface mount. Read and interpret work instructions, schematics, and assembly drawings. Inspect solder joints and assemblies for accuracy and quality using magnification tools or microscopes. Rework and repair soldered components to meet specifications. Maintain clean and organized workstations. Follow all safety and quality procedures. Requirements of the Soldering Technician High school diploma or GED required. Prior soldering experience preferred; training may be provided for entry-level candidates. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Ability to use hand tools and basic inspection equipment. Knowledge of IPC standards is a plus. Must be a U.S. citizen. Background check required.
