Concord, NC Summary:

This position supports the automation systems in the warehouse area of an optical fiber manufacturing plant, working directly with the equipment and systems responsible for order fulfillment. After an initial training period (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM), the work schedule will most likely transition to a 12-hour day/night rotation aligned with the facility’s production shift schedule.

Primary Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide array of automation systems in the warehouse area including mini-load AS/RS cranes, Fanuc robots, various roller conveyors, and automation devices Collaborate with the operations team to ensure all processes and equipment are running smoothly and any issues are resolved promptly Partner with the engineering team on advanced support issues or process improvement initiatives Ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed thoroughly

Qualifications:

Education:

A.A.S. in Engineering Technology Demonstrated experience with AS/RS systems In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of hands-on experience with relevant equipment will be considered Hands-on experience with AC/DC and servo motors, pneumatic systems, sensors, valves, and other PLC-controlled equipment Proficiency with Windows PCs and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to work safely around automated equipment

Job Types:
