Position:
Dimensional Calibration Technician Job Responsibilities:
As a Dimensional Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for: Performing precise dimensional measurements using advanced tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), and optical comparators. Calibrating instruments and equipment according to established standards and procedures. Documenting calibration results and maintaining detailed records in compliance with regulatory and quality assurance requirements. Diagnosing and troubleshooting measurement discrepancies and recommending corrective actions. Collaborating with engineers and production teams to ensure product specifications are met. Maintaining and organizing calibration equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Adhering to industry standards and safety protocols while performing all tasks.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess: A high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in metrology or a related field is preferred. 1-3 years of experience in dimensional measurement or calibration roles. Proficiency with measurement instruments and calibration techniques. Strong mathematical skills and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team environment.
